There was one exception to this however: The Air Temperature. As much I have grown used to the hot, humid environment that is the indoor pool, today was unusually hot. By hot, I mean that hot air was blowing out of the vents. The humidity set aside, it felt more as though I was in a Sauna for 5 hours. After maintenance came down and understood that it was indeed hotter than the usual rain forest climate, they discovered that the thermostat in the pool area was broken. They did manage to fix it after several hours however, and we were once again back in the normal steamy jungle.
I never realized that the pool's air could get as high as it did; however, I was proven wrong today. Thanks to the air's new record high, I was transported to the Sahara for a day and was spared the trip there in person. Many thanks.
All in the day and life of working at an indoor pool.
